Cozumel’s streets  were crowded on Monday with tourists from the arrival of four giants of the sea at various port terminals of the town.  Rafael E. Melgar, was filled with cruise passengers, and services such as snorkeling were all busy. Merchants in the city commented that there were record sales on Monday. Local handicrafts, souvenirs, jewelry, watches, perfumes, clothing and beach  stores, being  the most visited. Early in the day, beach clubs and  beaches were filled with visitors enjoying  snorkeling and diving or just basking in the sun. It is estimated that Monday generated an economic impact of nearly one million dollars.

Today, three ships have arrive.                                                                                                                                                                                                The Carnival Legend arrived at Puerta Maya Port Terminal. Passengers disembarked at 8:00 a.m. and will leave at 16:00.

The Carnival Elation arrived at SSA Mexico Port Terminal.  Passengers disembarked at 8:30 a.m. and will  leave at 16:00.

The Carnival Paradise arrived at Puerta Maya Port Terminal. Passengers disembarked at 9:30 a.m. and will leave at 16:00.

A total of 23 Cruise Ships will arrive  this week, a much-needed boost to our local economy!
