Ten more days to the United States IRS Tax April 15th Deadline!
Remember Expats need to file a Tax Return under almost all circumstances. All banks worldwide are reporting U.S. Citizen holdings and accounts to the United States Government.
If you are an Ex-Pat, you have to file a tax return even if you never lived in the United States this past year, make income only in a foreign company, or earn income below the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (FEIE).

Daylight Savings Time in Mexico
The clocks will change in most regions of Mexico On Sunday April 3rd, advancing one hour to mark the start of Daylight Savings Time.
Officially, the change took place at 2:00am everywhere except Sonora and Quintana Roo, which do not make the change, and the 33 municipalities along the northern border, whose clocks changed in March.
Daylight Savings Time remains in effect until the last Sunday of October for most of the country. The northern municipalities revert to standard time on the first Sunday of November.
New Environmental Measures for Mexico City
The new environmental measures in Mexico City took effect April 5th. As I understood the article, vehicles have days that they cannot be driven. The no drive schedule will affect vehicles that hologram number starts with a zero or a double zero.

AURITA’S COZUMEL CORNER
I made it through hip replacement surgery! All went well on March 15th, a mere two days in the hospital and I was released to recuperate at home with a visiting nurse and two therapists that come out during the week to get me back in shape. Modern medicine is amazing! I have had more pain in my knees and lower back these past few weeks than the actual operation. My four-week checkup is next Monday, with any luck, I hope to be heading back to Cozumel by mid-June!
I am reachable at all my telephone numbers, (Cozumel, U.S. telephone, SKYPE) email, and Facebook messages. Even though I am not on the island, everyone I know still is, so business as usual for any assistance that you may need.
