Correcting Errors in The Vaccination Certificate
If you need your proof of vaccination certificate but need to make corrections, contact the Secretary of Health.
Step 1. Sign in to the ¨Plataforma Nacional de Transparencia¨ at www.plataformadetransparencia.org.
Step 2. If you do not have an account, create one. It is very easy; you can also sign in by way of social media.
Step 3. Enter the section ¨SOLICITUDES¨, there click on ¨DATOS PERSONALES¨.
Step 4. Elect the section that you wish to correct.
Step 5. Fill in the form and select ¨Federación¨ ¨Secretaria de Salud¨(SSA).
Step 6. Elaborate on your request and send.

Isolation can make you anxious. Anxiety can lead you to wanting to eat all the time. Here are ideas for easy-to-prepare snacks that will help you maintain a healthy weight
Popcorn
Natural Popcorn is an excellent source of fiber. Avoid excess oil and salt!
Veggie Strips
Strips of Jicama, Cucumbers, and Carrots are an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. They are low in calories. You can ad lime, a little salt and/or hot sauce.
Tuna Fish
Tuna is an excellent source of protein, fiber, and low in calories. Purchase tuna packed in water, do not add mayonnaise. You can add lime tomatoes, onions, peas, and carrots. Avoid crackers with excess salt and grease.
COVID-19 Update
Both the northern and southern sections of Quintana Roo remain in the first stage of Green. This means everything functioning at 80% capacity.
Remain Using Face Masks. Frequently continue to wash hands. Respect safe distancing. Continue to avoid places with poor ventilation as well as parties.
The Cozumel Sun Book Exchange Store
A Book Exchange and community store opened in September of this year. Stop by and check out the hundreds of books already on the shelves! The book Exchange is FREE. We disinfect all incoming books and puzzles. We clean and disinfect daily. Disinfectant gel and Lysol spray are available for your use right as you enter.
The store carries office, school, and arts and crafts supplies. Also in stock are health and beauty products, housewares, and gift and novelty items.
Services include copying, printing, lamination, book binding. In addition, there is internet cafe as well as local and international telephone access.

Donations of any amount is appreciated at the book exchange and store! The majority of our merchandize is school based and as you know, the public schools remained closed until recently due to the pandemic.
We are currently supporting two families as well as pop in emergencies in the community for food or medical need. As of this week, the book exchange and store has two young men working. Their income will help them with their school tuition, learn business, and practice their English!

Medication and Medical Equipment
All the medication on hand was donated to the free clinic of Todos Somos Cozumel. We are once again start collecting medication to donate!
