Predial and Trash Fees Payments Made Easy: In previous years, you would have to get your invoice for the house taxes in one place, then go to another location to get your invoice for the Basura (trash). No more wandering around the second floor of the Municipal Palace!
Senior Discount Eligible
If you qualify for a senior discount, take last year´s invoices for reference and copies of your INAPAM card. Enter at the entrance by the police department. There is an information booth staffed by an employee at the entrance.
Make an immediate right to the back of the building. There will be a police officer and a row of chairs behind the building. This officer will direct you to your place in line if there is a line.
There are two clerks available to take your documentation and print out your invoices. You will make separate payments for Predial and the Basura. There are two cashiers available to take your payments and hand you your receipts. If you are paying with a debit or credit card, be certain to have your identification handy.
Predial & Basura Discounts
Not to worry if you do not qualify for a senior discount! If you pay your Predial & Basura before the end of February, you will also qualify for a discount!
The Municipality will give you a discount (usually 10%) if you pay the Basura (trash) before February 28th. The predial discount is based on how early you pay.
