Día de los Niños Saturday, April 30, 2022,

“Día de los Niños” is very important in México! Children’s Day is celebrated like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Most children get a gift on this day from their family.

Many schools across the island celebrated National Children’s Day today as many schools will be closed on Friday. There were parties in many classrooms, with food, candy, and games.

The official holiday will be this Saturday, April 30th. If you are out on Saturday, greet all children you encounter with “Feliz Dia!” or “Feliz Dia de Los Niños!” If you really want to have some fun, have some candy on hand to distribute!
