Motorcycles $433 pesos.

2023 Predial and Trash Fees Payments Made Easy

It is discount time again and as a bonus making your payment is easier than ever. In previous years, you would have to get your invoice for the house taxes in one place, then go to another location to get your invoice for the Basura (trash). No more wandering around the second floor of the Municipal Palace!

Senior Discount Eligible

If you qualify for a senior discount, take last year´s invoices for reference and copies of your INAPAM card. Enter at the entrance by the police department. There is a booth staffed by an employee at the entrance for information.

Make an immediate right to the back of the building. There will be a police officer and a row of chairs behind the building. This officer will direct you to your place in line if there is a line. Everyone so far has had little to no wait.

There are two clerks available to take your documentation and print out your invoices. You will make separate payments for Predial and the Basura. There are two cashiers available to take your payments and hand you your receipts. If you are paying with a debit or credit card, be certain to have your identification handy.

Predial & Basura Discounts 2023

Not to worry if you do not qualify for a senior discount! If you pay your Predial & Basura before the end of February, you will also qualify for a discount!

Discounts are by month of payment: 20% if you pay in December. December 29 – 31 the cashiers of the Municipal Palace will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 15% if you pay in January. 10% discount if you pay during the month of February.

The Municipality will give you a discount of 10% if you pay the 2023 Basura (trash) before February 28th.

Making your Payment

Enter the Municipal Palace. Take your copy of last year´s invoices for reference. I enter through the side door by the police station. Go directly to the cashiers located pass the staircase to the right.

First get in line at any window on your left. There are two clerks in the windows and a clerk sitting just outside the front entrance to the palace. Any of these clerks will take your information and print out your invoices.

Once you have your invoices in hand, move to one of the four cashiers in the windows to your right. You will make separate payments for Predial and the Basura. One of these clerks will take your payments and hand you your receipts. If you are paying with a debit or credit card, be certain to have your identification handy.

Normal Cashier Hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays de 9:00 a.m. a 3:00 p.m.

Todos Somos Cozumel free Clinic receives all the Medication that you donate. Please check your medicine cabinet regularly and bring us your unused medication! Drop off medication to our Book Exchange store or home anytime!

Medical Equipment

We have Medical Equipment to loan and donate. In stock to loan wheelchair, walker, two sets of crutches, and nebulizer. Canes are donated to seniors. Other medical supplies are donated directly to the free clinic or public hospital.

Our Services

Thank you book exchange participants that donate on a regular basis to the book exchange. Any amount is greatly appreciated as it helps keep our doors open. Business is SLOW and most of our merchandise is very economical as we serve the immediate community. We made all of $1,400 pesos to date in December. We are grateful for the $708 pesos the book Exchange participants donated.

Cozumel´s first Book Exchange & Papelaria offers School & Office Supplies, Printing, Copies, Scans, International Telephone, Internet Cafe, Gifts & Novelty Items. An assortment of books and movies are in stock FOR SALE.

TCS is non-profit and non-government funded. Donations help pay for website expenses, taxes, and fees. Donations support our community assistance program.
